Hey, I'm Becky! During the day I work in city sustainability, applying to grants and working with engineers, management analysts, nonprofits, and community members to help reduce emissions and improve equity and resilience. After work I cover climate change news and policy on my YouTube and Twitch channels (both called the Beckisphere) and I study for my master's in Energy and Environmental Management.

More specific skills I have experience in include:
  - Writing grant proposals
  - Improving FEMA community rating system (CRS) scores
  - Maintaining a regular community-focused sustainability newsletter

  - Conducting community outreach campaign
  - Collaborating with other cities to create joint projects
  - Organizing community events

  - Updating/reorganizing webpages
  - Developing social media strategies
  - Synthesizing science and climate change research, law, and policy into engaging media
